In nine short years, the Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure® has raised over ten million dollars for breast cancer research and local education, screening and treatment programs. Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds have been invested in our metro St. Louis community through grants furthering breast cancer awareness and early detection. Twenty-five percent of the funds have been used in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Award and Research program for breast cancer specific research.
