Join the Fight

Donations to the St. Louis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® are a vital part of our fundraising efforts. They are often a very personal way for individuals and organizations to join the fight against breast cancer by remembering or celebrating those they love that have been affected by the disease.

Susan G. Komen St. Louis has volunteers and staff that may contact you from time to time, but Susan G. Komen does not use paid telemarketing firms to solicit funds. If you have been contacted by a telemarketing company suggesting they are fundraising for Susan G. Komen, please consider reporting it to your local authorities.

Gifts in Memorial or Celebration

When you make a donation, you will receive an acknowledgement for your tax records. If your gift is in memoriam or in celebration of someone, we will send a personalized tribute card to the person or family you are honoring.  All gifts to the Komen St. Louis Affiliate are tax deductible to the full extent the law allows. All donations are considered unrestricted funds and will be used to support breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in the St. Louis area and national breast cancer research to find a cure.

Matching Gifts

In-Kind Donations

We are able to accept gifts to the Affiliate other than direct cash donations.  There are a variety of options for these types of gifts that range from office supplies to gifts for raffles and other opportunities around events conducted by the Affiliate each year.

Planning for your donations to have impact and significance can be achieved through estate planning.  Simple methods to attain your desires are possible through taking the right steps now to insure that your donation will continue to make a difference.  Consider a long-term investment in the fight against breast cancer by making a bequest to the Komen St. Louis Affiliate.  Giving by bequest costs nothing now, yet it may give you satisfaction to know that your future gift will live on.  Always consult with your estate planning representative, tax advisor or attorney for information on how you may benefit by making a charitable donation to the Affiliate.
