GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED The Komen St. Louis Affiliate is now accepting grant applications through 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2008 for Community Based Grants for breast cancer screening, treatment, education and support programs and for CRAFT Grants for clinical trials.  Applications and instructions are posted under the Grant section of the website.  Please contact Pat Nugent, Director of Grants and Education, at 314-569-3900 or at pnugent@komenstlouis.org for any questions.

2008 marks the 10th Anniversary of Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives. Pink lids will be on store shelves in September and October. For every pink Yoplait lid collected in the Komen St. Louis Affiliate Service area 10 cents will be donated directly to the Komen St. Louis Affiliate. Your efforts to collect lids in your community can go a long way to helping you achieve our vision of a world without breast cancer. The instructions are easy! Have your friends, family and co-workers collect the pink Yoplait lids Gather them together and mail to: Save Lids to Save Lives ® P.O. Box 42074 El Paso, TX 88542-0704 Make sure to write “KOMEN ST. LOUIS” and zip code 63132 on the outside of the envelope and needs to be postmarked by December 31, 2008. We CAN make a difference!
